Formula 1 | Ricciardo: “I'm really happy with today”

Daniel Ricciardo qualified in seventh position at Silverstone, becoming "the first of the rest" after Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull. The Australian said he was satisfied with the feeling in the car and the work done by the whole team. His teammate, Nico Hulkenberg, also finished in the top 10.

Daniel Ricciardo commented on the team's official website: “Today is a good recovery, especially after the last round. It shows that we did a lot of work, found out a little more about the car and then did a good qualifying. I'm really happy with today. Having both cars in Q3 was our goal, we achieved it, and seventh place is probably the best we could achieve today. Tomorrow we have to take some points from our rivals and we are in a privileged position to do so. We will try to stay at the top of the table and bring some smiles to the team. Our car felt good on long runs, so tomorrow we will focus on the top ten."
