Formula 1 | Grosjean compliments Komatsu on his role as team principal at Haas
"He's a very good friend and I'm happy for him. Steiner? I wish him the best," said the Frenchman
This week was marked by the turnover at home Haas. Guenther Steiner he is no longer the team principal of the American team after eight seasons in which the results were objectively lacking, and in his place the engineer was promoted Ayao Komatsu. The Japanese received compliments from Romain Grosjean, driver currently in IndyCar and who has in fact shared his entire career with the new boss of the Haas wall, first in Renault/Lotus and then with the US team.
"I do not know what happened - Grosjean said. I don't know the details, but I wish Guenther all the best for his next chapter, because he is a man with many ideas, he knows what to do, but as far as I'm concerned the main thing is that I'm very happy for Ayao. First of all he is a very good friend, and all of my 181 Formula 1 races were with him working on my car in some way. His children are the same age as mine, so we are very good friends and I am very happy for him. He has a huge challenge ahead of him, but I'm excited."
