Formula 1 | British GP, Mercedes and Ferrari: GPS data compared [VIDEO]

During the live broadcast of the second free practice session valid for the British Grand Prix, the tenth round of this 2019 Formula 1 world championship, Matteo Bobbi analyzed the behavior of Ferrari and Mercedes on the Silverstone track, underlining how Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas are able to express greater performance in the medium and high speed sections, effectively confirming what was seen in the first part of the seasons.

In addition to the first sector, in fact, Mercedes manages to bring greater speed inside the Maggots and Becketts curves, an aspect that allows the drivers to enjoy an advantage in terms of timing. As for Ferrari, however, Vettel and Leclerc are faster on the straights, given that they both manage to achieve around 11 km/h in the Hangar stretch. We'll see if these findings will also be confirmed in the sessions scheduled for tomorrow (rain permitting.ed.).
