Formula 1 | Aston Martin, Stoffel Vandoorne completes the two-day Pirelli test at Spa

Stoffel vandoorne got behind the wheel yesterdayAston Martin AMR23 a Spa-Francorchamps concluding the two days of Pirelli testing. The Belgian returned to a Formula 1 car for the first time since 2020, completing 53 laps on wet asphalt at his home circuit, sharing these test sessions with Lance Stroll. “It was fantastic to be back in a Formula 1 car – Vandoorne said. It's been a while since the last time, and for me it's a debut in Aston Martin. Doing it in Spa is obviously very special despite the rain. We used the wet tires in the morning and then the intermediates in the afternoon. The car was pleasant to drive even in these conditions, I enjoyed every lap."
