Frederic Vasseur can't wait to discover the real potential of the new C42, the car with which Alfa Romeo will face the next 2022 Formula 1 world championship.
Interviewed by the team's official website, the Biscione Team Principal promoted with flying colors the work carried out by the boys in the factory during the winter break, specifying how the team has all the "ingredients" to be able to take an important step forward compared to to last year's performance.
“It's finally time to start the season and I think we're as eager as everyone else to see how competitive our car will be,” said the Biscione Team Principal. “Some may see it as a moment of truth, but in reality it will take a few more rounds before we have a clear idea of the order within the lineup.”
“However, the first points are up for grabs on Sunday and as a team we need to make sure we are in the best shape possible. Both on the track and in the factory, a huge amount of work has been done over the winter, now it's time to reap the benefits.
