Formula 1 | Alfa Romeo Sauber, Ericsson and Leclerc on track in Barcelona for a filming day session
The C37 will debut twenty-four hours after the official presentation
Twenty-four hours after the presentation, Charles Leclerc and Marcus Ericsson will take the new Alfa Romeo Sauber C37 on track for the first time, a car that will bring the Biscione brand back into the Formula One circus. The Swiss team has in fact chosen to take advantage of a filming day session for a shakedown on the single-seater, verifying the correct functioning of all mechanical and electrical components.
Sauber, we remember, will mount the 2018 specification Ferrari power unit, which is why during the tests it will be necessary to carry out fine-tuning work which will not allow the slightest margin of error. The drivers will complete one hundred kilometers with experimental tires and will divide the day into equal parts (fifty laps each. Ed.).
The C37 Ferrari, we remember, will be revealed to the public on Tuesday 20 February via an online presentation.
