Force India prepares the debut of the VJM08-B

Force India took advantage of the latest in-season tests on the Red Bull Ring track to best prepare for the track debut of the VJM08-B, the definitive version of the single-seater currently used by Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Perez. An important two days where the Indian team sorted out the final details in anticipation of the Silverstone race, the key event of the season where the new single-seater will be brought to the track.

In fact, on Wednesday, Pascal Wehrlein tested a new type of muzzle which has two large slits in the bulb area. A very interesting aerodynamic solution, designed to increase the air flow in the lower area of the body and to reduce the resistance to the car's forward movement on a straight line. It remains to be seen whether Charlie Whiting, FIA delegate, will authorize the Indian team to fit this solution also on an official race weekend. We will certainly know more in the coming days.
