Important news awaits the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix which will take place on the Yas Marina track on December 12th. In fact, the track will undergo changes that will make the lap faster by around 10/15 seconds. This was underlined by Ben Willshire, CEO of Driven International which avails itself of the collaboration of MRK 1 Consulting to carry out these works which will thus give new life to the Emirates track.

In fact, the changes will change the area of ​​curves 4-5-6 with a single faster one, curves 11-12-13-14 will also be removed which will create a single curve and curves 17-18 will also be revised -19-20.

"It will be about 10-15 seconds faster, depending on your setup and DRS. We did a lot of simulator tests – said Willshire, interviewed by RaceFans – We worked closely with F1 to evaluate the lap. It was an important part of the design process".
