F1 | Wolff on Grosjean: “He should be happy to race in Formula 1”

The boss of Mercedes responded to the accusations made by the Swiss against Lewis Hamilton, guilty according to him, of having slowed him down during qualifying at Silverstone.

Grosjean he was quite furious in the post-qualifying session last Saturday, declaring that the FIA has not taken action against Hamilton, as the world championship is being played. Wolff he replied, arguing that the Swiss, given his conduct in past years, should be the last person to speak.

“There are drivers who always complain -commented the Mercedes team principal- I don't want to express myself. If Romain Grosjean calls for penalties for others, we should look at his track records. He should be happy to race in Formula 1.".

However, Gunther steiner took the side of his driver, arguing that if the roles had been different, Grosjean would certainly have taken the penalty:

“Hamilton is a world champion, he is the best. What need does he have to slow down other drivers? If anyone gets in his line, it's a disaster. We have to work together but there is never consistency with penalties".
