Baku was not an easy weekend for Williams, especially for Robert Kubica. In addition to the already complex sporting situation of the team, in Azerbaijan the Woking team had to deal with the incredible damage to Russell's car due to a manhole during free practice, al Kubica crashes into the barriers in the castle area during qualifying and at the start from the pit lane in the race.
Se Russell said he was happy that this difficult weekend is over, the Pole - who finished last behind his teammate - tried to see the glass half full: "I had never raced here in Baku and I would like to thank the mechanics, who had to do a lot of work to get the car back on track due to my mistake during qualifying. We decided to start from the pits and I immediately realized that I had to be careful when braking. There priority was to get the car home and, even if it wasn't easy, I achieved this goal. Once again thanks to the mechanics, who achieved something fantastic by bringing the car to the track for the race."
