Max Verstappen could serve a "double" penalty in the next Russian Grand Prix, the 15th round of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship. According to what Helmut Marko told f1-insider.com, Red Bull is thinking of taking advantage of the penalty on the grid in Sochi to assemble the fourth power unit of the season.

A certainly painful choice which would significantly complicate the Dutchman's race (he would start from the back), but which would allow the team to implement a better rotation of units in the final rounds of the championship, which, we remember, promises to be "tight" and with a point-to-point battle against Lewis Hamilton.

“We haven't decided yet what to do with the fourth power unit, but I think Sochi is a good place to overtake,” said the Austrian from Red Bull. “We will make a decision on this in the next few days.”
