F1 | TV8 confirms the timetable for the 2018 World Cup
Only four GPs will be broadcast free-to-air
With an advert published on its Facebook page, TV8 has confirmed the broadcast times of the Grands Prix that Sky will broadcast during the next Formula One championship. From next year, let us remember, the absolute holder of the rights relating to the Circus in Italy will be Ruperth Murdoch's TV, which will exclusively take seventeen events out of the twenty-one in total. In fact, only four will be broadcast free-to-air on the satellite broadcaster (Italy, USA, Mexico and Brazil.ed.), while the remainder will be available live only on NowTV (paid streaming platform.ed.) and Sky Sport F1 HD.
TV8 has confirmed that the deferred Grands Prix will be broadcast in prime time, presumably at 21.00 pm. With this move, Sky aims to enhance the Sunday evening catchment area, placing a highly followed event such as Formula 1. Fans will therefore have to wait a few hours before being able to enjoy the exploits of Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Raikkonen.
