F1 | Turrini on the new Ferrari: “The indications of the last week are encouraging”

Through the columns of his personal blog, Profondo Rosso, Leo Turrini spoke about the Ferrari which will be presented on February 11th at the Teatro Valli in Reggio Emilia, highlighting how the indications of the last week have moderately satisfied the technicians of the Scuderia di Maranello.

Despite some small accidents along the way, the Red team is slowly finding the right thing regarding the aerodynamics of the new single-seater, an aspect that would help Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc to take to the track in Barcelona with a technical package that is not very sensitive to changes.

“The indications of the last week are encouraging”, wrote Leo Turrini. “So far the solution has not yet been found, but as I have already explained there is time. Aside from the results, the goal is to have a simpler car that is not exposed to sudden changes in performance depending on the track."

Finally, conclusion on the engine, the Rossa's strong point in 2019: “In Maranello they are convinced that they have no problems with the performance of the power unit. Binotto is sure that the new unit will not be inferior to Mercedes and Honda."
