Interviewed by Auto Motor Und Sport, Toto Wolff returned to the sender the many rumors circulating about Mercedes' possible farewell to Formula 1 in 2021, specifying that the team's management is planning down to the smallest detail the sporting programs for the new era which will begin in two years.

Despite the information disseminated by the press and categorically denied by the CEO of Daimler, Ola Kallenius, Toto confirmed Mercedes' desire to continue in this fruitful adventure, an aspect that will lead the team to sit at the negotiating table regarding the drafting of the new Concorde.

“Mercedes will definitely compete in Formula 1 in 2021,” declared the CEO of the Anglo-German team. “We want to continue this fruitful adventure.”

On the general conditions of the new Concordat Pact he added: “The conditions have to be right. Mercedes wants a balanced contract, both for us and for the small teams. The common goal is to bring any team on the grid to victory."
