F1 | Pirelli test, Sainz completes 167 laps at Paul Ricard

Today marks the end of the two-day Pirelli test which saw Ferrari as the protagonist on the Paul Ricard track, where the Cavallino team took to the track with the 18-inch wet tires which will come into force next year with the introduction of the new technical-sporting regulations. Driving the SF90, modified for the occasion, was Carlos Sainz.

The Spaniard, who took the place of teammate Charles Leclerc on track yesterday, completed 167 laps: 75 with intermediate tires and 92 with full wet tires. The next test of the Milanese tire company will be held on 6-7 July at the Red Bull Ring with the AlphaTauri running on slicks.
