Tenth and twelfth position for Romain Grosjean and Pietro Fittipaldi on the second day of in-season testing on the Sakhir track.

The American team focused its attention on the new components brought to the Middle East, carrying out various comparisons with the material used during the weekend. A useful day, mainly aimed at the development of the VF-19, which will allow the team to better prepare for the next trip to Shanghai.

“I'm really happy with how the morning went,” said the Frenchman from Haas. “Now I'm much more comfortable in the car and driving this car was a new experience. We ran a steady schedule because I was familiar with the VF-19, having driven it before in Spain. I felt comfortable, which is good. Together with my engineer we completed the entire work program, making progress. All this makes me happy."

Here are Romain Grosjean's assessments: “It was a good afternoon. We focused on a lot of pieces, obviously trying to understand our rhythm, and I think we made some progress compared to the weekend. Now we have a lot of data to look at to prepare for the appointment in China. Overall I think it was a good afternoon for us."
