F1 | Abu Dhabi test: Ferrari finishes on top

Formula 1 officially goes on holiday. With the day of Pirelli tests carried out on the Abu Dhabi circuit, the 2022 season ends. Ferrari ranked in the first three places of the TOP 10, the best time was recorded by Carlos Sainz in 1:25.245 (63 laps completed).

Second position for Charles Leclerc; the vice world champion completed 56 laps, ahead of junior driver Robert Shwartzmann (116 laps).

Good debut with Alpine for the Frenchman Pierre Gasly (116 laps), not far from the times set by the Ferraris.

World Champion Max Verstappen was fifth with 76 laps completed. The Red Bull driver preceded the Williams of Alexander Albon (118 laps) and rookie Logan Sargeant (82 laps).

Eighth time for AlphaTauri's rookie, Nyck de Vries (151 laps), followed by Lance Stroll's Aston Martin.

Closing the TOP 10 times was the junior driver of the Red Bull team, Liam Lawson with 111 laps completed.

Fernando Alonso made his debut with Aston Martin today and said he was pleasantly surprised by the engine's performance.
