Everything is ready at Williams for the next Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the last round of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship. At the end of three intense sessions, characterized by ups and downs, George Russell will say goodbye to the English team, leaving behind an important experience and which allowed him to obtain the "pass" for Mercedes. A different story however for Nicholas Latifi, who will have to push hard to look forward to the 2022 season with optimism, where, remember, he will share the garage with Alexander Albon.

“We are heading towards the Abu Dhabi weekend, the last of the season”, said Williams' Englishman. “It will be a weekend full of emotions, also because it will be the last chapter of my journey at Williams. They have been three incredible years, with many highs and some lows, but I am determined to give the team the best possible result, as well as my contribution to reaching eighth place in the constructors' championship."

“It would be the right reward for the hard work done in recent seasons,” Williams' Englishman continued. “I'm sure there will be a lot of feelings and emotions after Sunday's Grand Prix, but until then, my complete focus is on the track and putting together a good weekend.”

Here are Nicholas Latifi's assessments: “There are always mixed feelings about the last race of the year, but I'm excited to take to the track at Yas Marina Circuit. It will be interesting to see how the changes to the track affect the racing, but it's great to see circuits looking to make improvements and I think they will provide a more exciting spectacle for the fans."
