F1 | Renault, Hulkenberg: “We didn't have enough pace, we got the maximum”

“We got the most out of today's race, that's positive. We didn't have enough pace to compete with the cars in front of us and this leaves me a little disappointed, it's clear that the battle for mid-table is very close. It was a challenging race: our main objective was to save fuel, while trying to compete with other cars. I think we did it pretty well tonight.".

11th (+1 LAP) – 2 Pit Stops (Soft, Soft, Supersoft)
“In the end I managed to survive on very worn soft tyres, whilst also having to save a lot of fuel. We need to analyze what happened at the start because the car was slipping too much: from then on the race was compromised. I got stuck in traffic after both pit stops and there wasn't much we could do in those circumstances. To be honest, it was a difficult day. Fortunately, China is just around the corner: we will fight to get back to the points".
