F1 | Red Bull, Ricciardo: “The problem I had in the morning affected me in qualifying”

After setting the best times in Friday's free practice sessions, Daniel Ricciardo had to settle for the sixth time achieved in qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix. To condition the performance of the Australian on the Hungaroring track was clearly the problem that occurred on his Red Bull during FP3.

Speaking to Sky Sport F1, the Australian commented on the trouble he suffered this morning: “Yes, I did two fast laps and the car was different from yesterday. We lost the whole morning after the problem, then we had to guess the track conditions in the afternoon and change the car according to these conditions".

"We have made several changes but we believe that these changes were not the best – continued Ricciardo – In Q3 I tried more speed but it wasn't enough, and it's all quite frustrating".

Ricciardo concluded by talking about the race: “Podium? I don't know, let's see, we'll have to be aggressive".
