F1 | Red Bull, Horner celebrates the double in qualifying

Suzuka – The front row of Japanese Grand Prix will be occupied by both cars of Christian horner. The team principal can celebrate the twenty-seventh double in qualifying, thanks to the pole position easily achieved by Max Verstappen and the excellent performance of Czech Perez, in second position. The two bulls will start tomorrow from a privileged position, but in the second row there are two wolves ready to attack: Lando Norris, chasing the first victory, e Carlos Sainz, having a Ferrari who showed excellent race pace in free practice.

Verstappen: “I knew they couldn't beat me”

“Both drivers had a brilliant qualifying. It's our twenty-seventh front row and Checo's best performance here in Japan, where he had never finished higher than fourth. Obviously there are still things to work on for the race, but Max did an incredible lap and we are very happy with the results – continued Horner – I think our rivals will be closer in the race, but we are in an advantageous position and we hope to continue like this tomorrow too."
