F1 | Racing Point, free practice analysis: important step forward for Hulkenberg
The German overall better than Stroll in the long run, podium goal?
Today was certainly a very special day for Racing Point. After this morning's ruling by the FIA given Renault's complaints, the British team was sentenced with 15 points less in the constructors' championship and a 400.000 euro fine. A sort of caress, according to most. Looking at the performances on the track, the English team has returned to setting interesting times, something that didn't happen last week again at Silverstone. Also noteworthy was the very good day of Hulkenberg, sixth and author of an important long run and overall better than Stroll's. Podium objective for the German and Racing Point? Difficult with Verstappen in such good shape, but there's no harm in trying.
