Thanks to a superlative performance, Verstappen managed to fight for the victory with the Englishman until the last lap of the Grand Prix, coming close to doing so in a desperate attack on the port chicane. A courageous maneuver, but which unfortunately did not bring the hoped-for results, given that the Englishman managed to defend himself as best he could, achieving a very important success in a world championship perspective.

The Dutchman, in addition to the damage, also suffered the insult, given that a penalty (imposed on him for the unsafe release against Bottas in the pit lane. ed.) did not give him the boredom of a podium which would have been absolutely deserved.

As far as Ferrari is concerned, however, Vettel's excellent second position should be noted, but there is still a bitter taste in the mouth for a weekend not managed in the best way, especially in relation to Charles Leclerc.
