F1 | McLaren, special livery for the Abu Dhabi GP

McLaren is getting a new look ahead of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the final round of the 2021 Formula 1 World Championship. The Woking team has in fact announced that it will race with a special livery during the weekend at the Yas Marina Circuit.

McLaren Racing and the Vuse brand yesterday presented a livery designed by artist Rabab Tantawy as part of the Driven by Change campaign, which offers emerging creatives a platform to showcase their work to the public through motorsport. This campaign supports emerging artists to increase their visibility.

The Tantawy design will therefore be mixed with the iconic papaya and the McLaren blue color, thus marking the debut of a female artist from the Middle East as regards the design of the livery of a Formula 1 car.
