Instead, the Ferrari in September it will be able to count on the collaboration of Laurent mekies, therefore in six months and not 12 as foreseen by the agreement:

“We are very sorry for the FIA ​​who has lost another key element of its organization because he has moved to a team - commented Boullier - especially after the gentleman's agreement discussed by all the teams in a Strategy Group meeting was not respected: the agreement reached stipulated that no FIA technician would be hired by a team before one year after leaving the FIA".

“Ferrari went against this agreement and the FIA ​​did not enforce it”.

Mekies will join the Ferrari technical team and report to the Scuderia's technical director, Mattia Binotto.
