F1 | McLaren, Alonso and Vandoorne in Mexico will be sanctioned
The Woking team will fit the ninth Power Unit of the season on both cars: a double penalty of 35 positions is expected

The branded ordeal McLaren-Honda continues undaunted: even in Mexico Fernando Alonso e Stoffel vandoorne they will have to serve yet another seasonal sanction. The Woking team, in fact, intends to homologate the ninth engine of the season on the MCL32 of both drivers: the announcement from the FIA has not yet arrived, but both the Spaniard and the Belgian should receive a penalty of 35 positions on the starting grid, given that they will have a new Power Unit in all its components.
The intention of the English team would be to "sacrifice" the race at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodríguez to be more competitive in the last two GPs of the season in Brazil and to Abu Dhabi.
