Interviewed by RTL, Helmut Marko analyzed the contractual situation of Sebastian Vettel and the balance that Ferrari will have to manage within its line-up, underlining how managing the German will not be easy at all.

According to the right hand man of Dietrich Mateschitz, the four-time World Champion will face his last season in Ferrari with desire and determination, an aspect which will obviously exclude possible team orders in favor of Charles Leclerc.

A borderline situation that could lead the Red Team to face a real head-on collision between its drivers inside the garage.

“There is a reason why Sebastian did not renew his contract with Ferrari for the 2021 season,” said Helmut Marko. “He probably didn't see the technical potential that would put him in a position to win another title.”

On the management of the line-up he added: “The only thing that is certain is that I know Seb well enough to say that he won't take team orders from anyone.”
