F1 | Leclerc: “I won't go to Mercedes instead of Hamilton, I want to win at Ferrari”

2023 is off to a bad start Charles Leclerc and for Ferrari. Especially for the Monegasque who, ready to set off in Bahrain, immediately had to raise the white flag due to reliability problems that affected him in Saudi Arabia where he had to start from fifteenth position. Despite a problematic start to say the least, the Ferrari standard bearer does not lose hope and continues to stay tuned to the main objective: winning in the red Ferrari tracksuit.

Leclerc himself has, once again, denied any type of malaise linked to his stay at Ferrari, once again ruling out his possible move to Mercedes in place of Lewis Hamilton. Let's remember that Leclerc's contract expires at the end of 2024 but at the moment, as recently highlighted by Maranello team principal Frederic Vasseur, the renewal is not a highly topical topic.

“Replace Hamilton at Mercedes in 2024? No, my greatest desire is to win here – declared Leclerc, interviewed by Leo Turrini on QN – Let's not play down. The start of the season was honestly disappointing, but I assure you that we are working very hard. I haven't lost faith."
