A visibly disappointed Charles Leclerc appears on Sky Sport F1 HD's microphones at the end of qualifying in Portimao.

Despite the excellent pace expressed in free practice, the Monegasque was unable to make the most of the potential of the SF21, an aspect which will force him to start from eighth place, far from the top positions in the standings. Not an easy condition, but one that will push him to give his all during the laps scheduled for tomorrow on the Algarve track.

The Monegasque, we remember, managed to "pull off" a great lap in Q2 on medium tyres, a factor that will allow him to carry out the first stint with what, on paper, should be the best strategy in terms of pace and time.
