F1 | Kubica holds back on the future: “Williams? Priorities different from mine"

Despite the rumors that have circulated over the last few weeks, Robert Kubica has not ruled out his possible farewell to Williams at the end of this season, underlining how the English team could have different priorities from his own.

In an interview given to the newspaper Sokolim Okiem, in fact, the Pole made it clear that Grove is looking for pay drivers for next season and this very factor could lead him to embark on a new adventure in 2019.

Here are the words of Robert Kubica: "Future? From my point of view, not much changes. I think the next few days will be important because I will decide what to do next year. I could be wrong, but I think Williams has different priorities than me. I honestly don't understand why people only associate me with this team."

“To date I still have an agreement with Williams, but we'll see what happens. From their point of view they can take me forever, but I won't be here automatically.", he continued. “My approach is always the same: if one of Williams' seats is empty, I will be ready. Then the realization of this scenario does not depend on me."

On the future he added: “I want to understand what gives me the most satisfaction. I aim to find a satisfactory goal and not just a short-term one."
