F1 | Hulkenberg: “Excellent team result, an excellent reward”

Nico Hulkenberg, who started from the seventh spot on the grid, managed to close the GP by maintaining his position and making a covering strategy on Gasly.

“We can be happy because it is an excellent team result. I had good pace throughout the race, kept the soft tires in good shape and had fresher tires at the end. I had to slow down a bit to stop the car overheating and from there we achieved a solid team result. We leave here with smiles on our faces. The last three or four weekends have been compromised for various reasons and today we saw the full potential of the car. It is an excellent reward for the team's hard work at both Enstone and Viry and now we must always do better,” he commented.
