F1 | Hamilton on the exchange with Rossi: “The last few days have been the most epic of my life”
"We both did great, without any problems," the Englishman underlined on Instagram
On Monday 9 December the Ricardo Tormo track in Valencia hosted the exchange which saw the protagonists Lewis Hamilton e Valentino Rossi. The Mercedes standard-bearer climbed onto the Doctor's Yamaha M1, while the rider from Pesaro rode the Silver Arrow of the six-time Formula One world champion.
For Hamilton it was not his debut driving a racing motorcycle. In fact, the Anglo-Caribbean completed some laps on the Yamaha R1 last year on the Jerez track. Even for Rossi it was not the first time behind the wheel of a single-seater: in fact the Doctor has carried out various tests driving the car in the past Ferrari.
While waiting to know the times achieved by both which will be communicated soon by Monster, the energy drink company, sponsor of both champions which organized the event, Hamilton expressed his feelings on Instagram regarding the day spent on the track with Rossi.
"The last few days have been the most epic of my life – Hamilton admitted -. There is still no news of what Valentino and I did. We both did great, no problems. I want to share it with all of you. Sending positivity and love to everyone".
Both, according to reports from La Repubblica, they would have obtained excellent feedback by leaving the track "happy as children". The event would last eight hours. We remind you that a documentary will soon be made on the Hamilton-Rossi exchange.
