F1 | Haas, Bearman and Pietro Fittipaldi on the VF-23 in the Abu Dhabi tests

La Haas confirmed that Pietro fittipaldi e Oliver Bearman will participate in test of Abu Dhabi next Tuesday. All the teams will divide the tests into two: in one car they will test next season's tyres, which in fact are the same as the one that is about to end, while in the other there will be a young driver, and this will be the case of the young from the Ferrari Driver Academy. Fittipaldi's last time with the VF-23 was recently, in July, in tire tests Pirelli on the circuit of silverstone, where he traveled almost 700 kilometres. The Brazilian driver, who recently announced that he will drive full time in IndyCar next year he tested several cars during his five-season stay with Haas, notably racing in the final two 2020 rounds, replacing Romain Grosjean. Bearman has won four races this year in formula 2, and has already participated in a free practice session with Haas a Mexico City, making him the youngest British driver to take part in a weekend of formula 1, and will repeat on Friday in Abu Dhabi, which will also coincide with the end of the cadet season, where he is currently sixth in the standings driving for the Press.

“Exciting driver training – said Guenther Steiner, Haas team principal. Pietro's reliability is always appreciated in the team, especially now that we are gathering data and experience for next season, so it is right that he gets in the car at the Abu Dhabi tests. Ollie performed well in Mexico, showing the right attitude and work ethic, and we were also impressed with his guidance, so we're happy to give him more time in our car to broaden his knowledge of Formula 1".

“It's always a great opportunity to drive a Formula 1 car,” declares Fittipaldi.
“I can't wait to get back in the car – says Berman. We'll do the first free practice session together on Friday, it will be fantastic to start from this base and then spend a whole day in the car next Tuesday. It will be the last chance to work towards 2024, so I will try to do a good job. The team has made me feel very comfortable since we joined in Qatar, I really enjoy working with them.”
