F1 | Giovinazzi talks about the future: "I would like to stay in Alfa Romeo"

Antonio Giovinazzi has been the protagonist of a regular start to the season so far, scoring the only point currently obtained by Alfa Romeo Racing in the Monaco GP. The driver from Martina Franca, whose contract expires at the end of 2021 like his teammate Kimi Raikkonen, hopes to be able to extend his experience with the Swiss team in which he feels very comfortable.

"The only things I can do now are do a good job, drive fast and then see what happens next year. I would really, really like to stay – declared Giovinazzi, quoted by RaceFans – CI know people very well. But for now, as I said, I can only focus on myself and try to do well. It's my third season in Formula 1, we have a faster car, a faster engine and we can have more fun".

Giovanni then, completing his analysis, then added: "When you feel better in the car it's easier to be at the limit too. At the beginning of the season my goal was to improve compared to the first and second seasons. And I'm happy that all this work worked in the winter. Having Kimi by my side is a great help because he is an expert rider, a fast rider. Learning from him is nice".
