F1 | Ferrari, Vettel on the Paul Ricard weekend: "Tomorrow will be very important for us"
"We hope that positive feedback arrives," said the German
Having turned the page after the bitterness of Montreal, Sebastian Vettel is focused on the French Grand Prix which will take place this weekend on the Paul Ricard track.
At Le Castellet Ferrari will have some updates available: “We have some new parts on the car, we are trying some things: tomorrow will be very important for us – underlined the German while discussing with journalists -. The track is not quite like last year, there are several resurfaced sections, but there is a bit of everything in the characteristics of this track. We hope that the feedback that will arrive confirms that we can take a step forward on those fronts that have been our weak points up to now".
The Red standard bearer, completing his analysis, added: “We know that our car is very competitive on the straights, but we lack a bit of grip in the corners, so we lose or gain depending on the track we are on. Here we have a good mix of both elements, including potentially difficult corners for us, but we have some updates that could confirm a step forward".
