F1 | Ferrari SF1000, Leclerc: “I worked hard to learn from last year's mistakes”

After an undoubtedly high-level first season, Charles Leclerc is ready to confirm himself with the new SF1000, a car which, at least in intention, should allow the Monegasque and Vettel to compete for the world championship with Mercedes, once again a car to beat. For the #16, winner of two races last year, it will be a very important championship, that of reconfirmation, and the hope is that the new Ferrari can allow him to fight against Hamilton and co.

“The approach is different compared to last year – Leclerc admitted. I know the team and the car, even if this is clearly different to the SF90, however it is a development of its own: we worked together to improve it, to be increasingly ready for this year. Now I know the people I work with, I have confidence for the next season, I can't wait. I prepared myself above all physically, I went to the mountains to be at my best. Mentally the approach is very similar to previous years, I try to give my best: we worked a lot with the team to try to build the best car possible, and also personally I tried to work well to learn from last year's mistakes and to be a better driver this year. Yes, I love tortellini, but I'm putting them aside for now because I have to lose a few pounds!”.
