F1 | Ferrari, Raikkonen on the future: "I would like to stay, but the decision is up to the team"

In an interview given to Bild, Kimi Raikkonen spoke about his future in Ferrari, underlining how no communication has arrived from the team regarding 2019. Kimi, obviously, hopes to remain within the Maranello team also during the next championship, well aware of the fact that the relationship with Vettel could push the new management to postpone Charles Leclerc's entry into the team.

Here are the words of the Finn: “I would love to stay, of course! However, the decision rests solely with Ferrari. I'm waiting for communications as much as you are."

On his relationship with Vettel he added: “There is no problem and conversations are always ok. He's a guy who takes on all responsibility and so am I. Working with this atmosphere is great and certainly helps to make the car faster. We both work towards one goal, which is to bring Ferrari to win the championship."
