F1 | Ferrari, Leclerc: "I was able to drive a great car, we will resolve the problems in view of the next races"

Despite the problem with the power unit which did not allow him to achieve the first victory in his career, which he would have richly deserved, Charles Leclerc he is however satisfied with the performance shown by Ferrari in Bahrain compared to the colorless test in Australia where the SF90s had beaten almost a minute of Valtteri Bottas' winning Mercedes.

"It was an unforgettable weekend for myself – underlined the Monegasque –. They gave us a great car. We must be proud of this. During the race we were extremely strong, then some problems occurred. Obviously it's a big disappointment, not just for me but for the whole team, not to finish where we deserved to be. We will work on the problem that occurred on my car, but I am absolutely confident that everything will be resolved in view of future races".

Leclerc, continuing with his discussion, added: “I wasn't happy with myself after Melbourne, I made a lot of mistakes especially in Q3 when I had to put the lap together. In the race I think I did a great job compared to Australia. In this aspect I am very happy. There are some things I need to improve and I'm working on them, tI always end up focusing on the negative aspects of a weekend".
