Leclerc fifth, Vettel seventh at the end of the first hour and a half of work

The first free practice session of the Formula 70 1th Anniversary Grand Prix saw Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel occupy fifth and seventh position respectively in the timesheets.

41 laps. The Scuderia Ferrari drivers completed a total of 41 passes. Charles covered 20 of them, working mainly with the Soft compound which represents the novelty of the weekend from Pirelli which brought C2, C3 and C4 tires (compared to the C1, C2 and C3 of last week).

The Monegasque achieved a best time of 1'27”062, enough for fifth place. A linear session also for Sebastian who in turn achieved his reference time with Soft tires in 1'27”498, good for seventh place. For him a total of 21 passes.

Plan. The second free practice session is scheduled for 15pm local time (16pm CET). Tomorrow, however, the last free practices are scheduled for 11am (12pm CET) with qualifying starting at 14pm (15pm CET). The Grand Prix on Sunday 9 August will start at 14.10pm (15.10pm CET).
