F1 | DRS zones confirmed for the next Hungarian Grand Prix
Pay attention to the variable weather for the weekend
di Roberto Valenti25 July 2018
The International Federation has made official the points where it will be possible to exploit the DRS system in the Hungarian Grand Prix, the twelfth round of this 2018 Formula One World Championship. The device can be used in two very specific areas of the track and these will be positioned in the main straight of the Hungarian track and in the short straight that leads from turn 1 to turn 2.
The FIA has also decided to activate a detection cell which will be positioned before turn 14. We remind you that in the free practices on Friday the areas of use will be the same as those in the race, obviously without the rule of one second of separation from the car in front.
The same goes for qualifications.
