F1 | DRS zones confirmed for the Italian Grand Prix

The International Federation has made official the points where it will be possible to exploit the DRS system in the Italian Grand Prix, the fourteenth round of this 2018 Formula One World Championship. The device can be used in two very specific points of the track and the areas will be positioned in the main straight of the Brianza track and in the extension that leads to the Ascari chicane.

It should be noted that both sections have undergone a slight modification, with Charlie Whiting and the FIA technical delegation choosing to lengthen the sectors of use in favor of overtaking.

As regards the detections, however, the FIA chose to activate one shortly before the Parabolica and another immediately after the first Lesmo. We remind you that in the free practices on Friday the areas of use will be the same as those in the race, obviously without the rule of one second of separation from the car in front. The same goes for qualifications.
