F1 | Coronavirus, contagion in a Melbourne hotel
Facility closed and staff in quarantine
di Jessica CortellazziMarch 10, 2020
A little while ago, the Albert Park Hotel reported that there is a case of coronavirus among its guests. The Grand Prix will take place in five days and despite everything will take place behind open doors. The hotel immediately closed and all staff are forced to spend two weeks in quarantine, but the wider effects of this are not yet known.
The organizers of the Grand Prix have however reiterated their intention to welcome the public: “It is impossible to lead without an audience. We must handle the situation wisely and take necessary precautions."
