F1 | 2021 calendar, all ready for the Grand Prix in Qatar instead of Melbourne

All that is missing is the official status, but it now seems like a done deal for the arrival of the Grand Prix in Qatar instead of Melbourne, canceled from the 2021 Formula 1 calendar since last July 6th due to the increase in Coronavirus infections. The race on the track around Albert Park should have been held on the weekend of November 21st, after an initial move (it was scheduled for March as the inaugural race, ed.) to ensure first and foremost safety for fans and professionals, and also to complete the works in the central sector. The postponement to the end of the season did not serve to avoid the pandemic difficulties, and so, after the cancellation also for 2021, the Losail track, famous for being the opening venue of the MotoGP, is the number one candidate for replacement. The official announcement should arrive in the next few hours.
