F1 | World rankings: Hamilton postpones the world championship party, Ferrari nibbles twelve points away from Mercedes
The driver and constructor rankings updated after the United States Grand Prix
Lewis Hamilton extends, but not enough: after the Austin race, the English driver closes the gap on Sebastian Vettel to +70, but will have to be patient at least until the Mexican GP to put an end to the World Championship. The success in Austin, meanwhile, allows Kimi Raikkonen to overtake compatriot Valtteri Bottas into 3rd place in the drivers' championship and Ferrari to slightly reduce the gap to Mercedes in the constructors' championship.
