F1 | Budget cap – Red Bull, Vasseur speaks: “We were disqualified in Baku for much less”

The budget cap issue - Red Bull has clearly affected the entire Formula 1 paddock. We are talking about the Austrian team because at the moment the strongest of all, but Aston Martin also risks something in terms of penalties, although most likely minor entity. The other team principals, called into question in the press conference dedicated to them on Saturday morning, did not lack their doubts on the matter.

“If you commit irregularities even in a race or session you can be disqualified – said Frederic Vasseur, Alfa Romeo team principal. We were excluded from the qualifications in Baku (in 2019, ed.) due to a deviation of 0,9 millimeters of the surface. At Mercedes they were given a hard hand last year, so the comparison, i.e. development of five or more million is certainly a more significant violation, it can earn you months of development compared to the others"
