F1 | Alpine, Ocon on the Portuguese GP: "The track is like a roller coaster"

The Portuguese Grand Prix is ​​highly appreciated by practically all Formula 1 drivers. In 2020 on the Portimao circuit we witnessed a great weekend, on a track that was very fun both to drive and to see. This year the asphalt will certainly be more forgiving, and Ocon is enthusiastic about returning to the Iberian track, hoping that Alpine can make progress compared to the difficulties suffered in the first two races of the championship.

“Portimao is one of the circuits where I feel the most pleasure driving – Ocon said. There is a lot of smoothness and some combinations of turns are very exciting indeed. Last year, when we went to Portugal for the first time, many compared this track to a roller coaster, given the many changes in gradient in the fast corners. I was very happy when they confirmed this Grand Prix for 2021 too. The Algarve is a beautiful place, the weather is supposed to be warm, so I can't wait!”.
