F1 | Alfa Romeo, decisions on Giovinazzi's future soon

At Alfa Romeo Racing the future of Antonio Giovinazzi is at the forefront. The Apulian, in his first year in Formula 1, after a normal learning start to the season, returned from the summer holidays with a different attitude, and after the shock at Spa, which cost him a lot in terms of points (he was doing a great race until the last lap), he regained a confidence that seemed lost, achieving the top ten in both Monza and Singapore. Precisely at Marina Bay, the driver from Martina Franca showed his ability to manage the car in difficult situations, with the wall which from a strategic point of view never behaved well with Kimi and in particular with Antonio in the of this 2019. Fred Vasseur, team principal of Alfa Romeo Racing, dotes on Hulkenberg, currently without a seat for next year, but Giovinazzi's performance and the probable pressure from Ferrari, which we remember actually has the final say on who to sit on that car, being from the FDA, they bring the Apulian closer and closer to reconfirmation.

“I think Antonio is doing a good job, he's aligned with Kimi's performances in the last six or seven qualifying sessions – Vasseur said to f1.com. He's doing his job, he's improving and I have a lot of confidence in him. We will make a decision very soon."
