A new controversy erupts over flexible wings in F1

A new controversy over flexible wings is about to explode in Formula 1. Several teams have reportedly complained about the design of the front wings of Red Bull Racing and Ferrari. Some rival teams would have presented photographic evidence to the FIA ​​which would demonstrate an unauthorized bending of the central part of the front wings of the RB6 and the F10 at high speed, recreating a ground effect in some situations.

The two teams have already ensured that they are within the rules but if the FIA ​​were to deem the two solutions irregular, different scenarios could occur.

The Federation could choose to disqualify the four cars from the German Grand Prix, or could introduce a new testing procedure for the next race to prevent their use.

Another possibility is a formal protest from another team. However, if the FIA ​​gives the green light to the solution devised by the two teams, we will most likely see it soon on all the other cars.
