Vettel: “There is still work to do”

Webber: "I'm focused on my weekend"

Vettel: “There is still work to do”

Sebastian Vettel said Red Bull still has a lot of work to do after free practice for today's Brazilian GP. Vettel ended Friday with the second fastest time behind Lewis Hamilton and explained that at the moment he is not thinking about the probable rain that will hit Interlagos over the weekend.

“The track was very slippery for everyone, today it was quite hot and the track conditions were not easy” explained Vettel. “So everyone suffered the same problems: track, stability and so on. We have to do our homework, no matter what the forecast says. We'll see how it goes. So far we are happy. We have to work and improve the car, there is still a lot to do. Obviously we don't know how the weather will evolve. Today it was incredibly hot, tomorrow it should be hot with maybe a little rain, and on Sunday the temperatures should drop a little, but this is Sao Paulo and anything can happen."

His Red Bull teammate Mark Webber finished third fastest and said he was focused on his program rather than helping his teammate: “I don't see what I could do differently. I keep pushing and I'm focused on having the best weekend possible for myself. If you start thinking 'let's do that', 'let's do that', it's not going to happen anyway. So we have to focus on ourselves."
