No problems with the new track engineer however

The third day of testing saw Jean-Eric Vergne take the wheel of the STR8. After an initial phase of acclimatization to the new car, the Frenchman dedicated himself to the aerodynamics and the various cooling and set-up solutions, completing 85 laps.
“It's nice to be back even if this morning it took me a while to get used to the car” – JEV said at the end – “We weren't interested in finding the optimal balance, but in working on what we had and obtaining as much data as possible. Today was the first time with the new race engineer Phil Charles and I must say that it went very well. I think it won't take long to get in tune."
